How embarrassing! I drove to the beach entrance at Daytona Beach. I was super excited to take my Wrangler on the sand. I saw the signs that said 4×4 vehicles only. I thought I was so cool when I grabbed the gear and got ready to shift down. Unfortunately this was the first time I tried to do this. I was not sure how hard to pull the gear down. I did not want to damage anything. I was stuck. I stopped the Jeep, as though I was just a tourist admiring the beach. In the mean time, I was frantically looking up youtube videos on how use the 4×4. Thank you Jesus. I found a video, then geared in to 4×4. I was able to cruise on the sand with no problems.
